Training & Consultation
For more than a decade I have led workshops, trainings, and outreach programs on topics such as trauma and PTSD; postdeployment mental health; clinical work with combat veterans; Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD; and compassion fatigue response and prevention. Audiences have included military service members, veterans and their families, law enforcement, university faculty and staff, mental health professionals, and community members. The workshop is open to any and all mental health clinicians with psychotherapy in their scope of practice (social workers, marriage and family therapists, psychologists, mental health counselors, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and psychiatrists, etc.). Please note: NASW NYC is only able to provide CEUs to licensed social workers and licensed marriage and family therapists.
NASW New York City Chapter is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers #0027 and the State Board for Mental Health Practitioners as an approved provider of continuing education for Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists #MFT-0060.
2015–2018 Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD Consultation
